ForwardWorks, LLC ("ForwardWorks," "we," "us," or "our") is a disability consulting company and SBA Certified Woman-Owned Small Business based in Fairfax, VA. We operate the website at forwardworks.net and the ForwardWorks Skills Lab, a suite of workplace readiness courses delivered through an online learning management system.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it when you visit our website or purchase a Skills Lab course.

Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Contact forms: When you submit a message through our contact or organization inquiry form (powered by JotForm), we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any information you include in your message.
• Course purchases: When you enroll in a Skills Lab course, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your purchase (name, email, and course purchased) but we do not store your credit card number — Stripe handles all payment data securely.
• Course enrollment: After purchase, your name and email are used to set up your account in our learning management system (YesLMS) to deliver your course.
• Website analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. This collects anonymized data such as pages visited, time on site, and general location (city/country level). Your full IP address is not stored.
• Cookies: Our site uses cookies to support analytics and to remember your preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work as expected.

How We Use Your Information

We keep your contact and purchase information for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose it was collected for — typically as long as you have an active course enrollment or an ongoing business relationship with us. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see "Your Rights" below).

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Payment transactions are encrypted and processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. However, no internet transmission is completely secure — please contact us immediately if you believe your information has been compromised.
