ForwardWorks provides program, project, and performance management consulting services to move work from implementation to success. Further, we love to design and deliver helpful metrics and dashboards to keep teams focus on results that matter to leadership.
Disability Inclusion & Accessibility
While we enjoy program management and a range of consulting capabilities, our core area of focus is in disability inclusion and accessibility. Our team and network of consultants have decades of experience working with organizations, from benchmarking to create initial disability inclusion strategic plans to pioneering initiatives on the edge of the disability inclusion maturity model. ForwardWorks is focused on disability inclusion and accessibility and helps organizations move from mission to vision; a world where people with disabilities have access to education, recreation, work and community.
Training & Technical Assistance
Our consultants gather requirements, design and implement training and learning solutions for clients seeking to advance disability inclusion and accessibility. Further, the ForwardWorks Skills Lab delivers virtual learning modules supported by cohort labs focused on Networking as a Skillset, Project Planning, and Tech and AI at Work. Further, through our consultant network, we have access to trainers and subject matter experts to help advance an organization’s knowledge base and ongoing technical understanding across the enterprise.
Branding and Consumer Relations
We pride ourselves in our branding and relationship management work. From focus groups, in-depth-interviews, and surveys, to developing robust brands, ForwardWorks team members have researched, designed and delivered a variety of brands or brand refresh efforts, including the Department of Defense Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program, the World Institute on Disability, PeerMentoring Works, and the National Disability Mentoring Coalition.
Mentoring & Engagement
ForwardWorks is a national leader in the disability and inclusive mentoring space. We pride ourselves in having a robust network across disability and mentoring communities and help organizations design tools and programming to deliver customized mentoring engagements. Working in support of Partners for Youth with Disabilities, ForwardWorks helped refresh career readiness curriculum to add to their mentor match programming. Further, we helped create and delivery mentor training for the American Foundation for the Blind’s Blind Leaders Development Program. Last, our engagement model brings students and young adults with disabilities together to discuss how to prepare and network to achieve one’s career objectives. We did this work in support of Peer MentoringWorks and the California Transition Alliance and continue to provide for other organizations interested in empowering young adults with disabilities.
